IMAGE INTENSIFIERS FROM PHOTONIS
Penlink has recently been awarded the distribution rights for Photonis image intensifiers.
Photonis is a world leader in the production of image intensifiers for military, space, and commercial applications. Photonis supplies all NATO member states with products that are used on missions all over the world. Image intensifiers are also used, such as in film cameras, to allow filming in the dark. For example, Discovery Channel is one company that uses Photonis image intensifiers.
Slip rings
A slip ring is a component for transmission of power and data signals to a freely rotating unit such as a radar aerial or the rotor blades of a wind turbine. Also called a slip ring device, rotary electrical joint, collector, or electric swivel, a slip ring can be used in any mechanical device that requires free rotation while transmitting power or electrical data signals. Slip rings can improve the performance and simplify the design of many applications.
