Gyroscope for Low Earth Orbit

Used in Satellites and Space-Based Systems

A low Earth orbit (LEO) requires the lowest amount of energy for satellite placement, together with our gyroscope solutions it makes for a easy installation. The satellites placed around low earth orbit provides high bandwidth and low communication latency. Our gyroscopes also work on space stations, placing both satellites and space stations in LEO makes them more accessible for crew and servicing.

Since it requires less energy to place a satellite into a LEO, the application needs less powerful amplifiers for successful transmission. The low Earth orbit is used for many communication applications, such as the Iridium phone system. Some communication satellites use much higher geostationary orbits, and move at the same angular velocity as the Earth as to appear stationary above one location on the planet. All applications needs a gyroscope to easily maneuver and stabilize said application.

The GI-CVG-N2103A GYRO is built with Coriolis technology to deliver accurate tactical grade performance in a small, lightweight package. With an improved Angular Random Walk and an excellent short-term bias stability, the GI-CVG-N2103A is a perfect fit for demanding Space Application.

We also have cameras suited for space-based applications.
